The Ministry of Education confirmed that the new development project divides the educational map of the Kingdom into five basic regions: the eastern region, the western region, the central region, and the northern region, And the southern region.

Strategic plan

The Ministry explained that this new organization comes within A strategic plan to unify efforts, enhance administrative efficiency, and raise the level of overall performance. It aims to expand the scope of effective educational supervision, in direct line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to develop the educational sector.

Under the new structure, each of the five major regions is responsible for comprehensive supervision of all educational aspects within its geographical scope. These responsibilities include strategic planning processes, continuous development, and educational and administrative evaluation, which will reduce administrative redundancy and enhance integration.

Accelerating decision making

This organization aims to accelerate the pace of Decision makingand increasing the efficiency of operational performance. It is also intended to ensure that educational policies are applied in a uniform and balanced manner throughout the Kingdom, which is expected to reflect positively on the quality of educational services and their outcomes, in the interest of male and female students at all educational levels.

This step is part of a comprehensive modernization path adopted by the Ministry to modernize its administrative system. This path aims to support digital transformation in education, develop the educational work environment, and make the educational sector one of the main engines for achieving comprehensive national development whose features are shaped by “Vision 2030”.
