The rowing team arrives in South Africa to participate in the African Championship

The Egyptian rowing team arrived in South Africa. To participate in the two African Rowing Championships, which will be held during the period from October 27 to November 2 of next year. 

The third African Beach Rowing Championship competitions will begin in East London, for juniors, under 23 years of age, and general, on the 28th and 29th of this October. 

While the team will also participate in the 17th African Classic Rowing Championship In the city of Pretoria, also for juniors, under-23 years of age, and nationals, and it is scheduled to be held on the 1st and 2nd of next November.

The Egyptian national team delegation includes Mustafa Al-Atta, a member of the Board of Directors and head of the delegation, Magdy Afifi, the delegation administrator, Mahmoud Abdel Halim, the general coach, Adel Badr, the national team coach, and Mohamed Fakhry, the fitness and loads coach.

Participating from Players: Abdul Khaleq Al-Banna, Muhammad Al-Husseini, Ali Alaa, Ahmed Al-Ateeq, Omar Al-Qamati, Omar Hussam Al-Din, Ziad Salama, Ibrahim Mahmoud, Yassin Al-Qamati, Ziad Ihab, and Youssef Salama.

Also participating among the players are: Maryam Hammam, Ghada Nada, Salma Safwan, Remas Osama, Alia Muhammad Ali, Maryam Awadallah, Habiba Mohsen, and Hana. Al-Sabki.

Major General Sherif El-Gamaty, President of the Egyptian Rowing Federation and Treasurer of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, was keen to support and assist the national team delegation before it traveled to South Africa. 

He was at Cairo Airport to bid farewell to the players and the technical staff, wishing them success and achieving honorable results that would raise the Egyptian flag in the two African Championships.
