The Red Crescent launches a convoy "Increased pride" The 60 are carrying 9,800 tons of relief aid to Gaza

This morning, the Egyptian Red Crescent launched the “Zad Al-Izza” convoy… from Egypt to Gaza. The 60, which carries a number of urgent humanitarian aid trucks towards the Gaza Strip, as part of its continuing efforts as a national mechanism for coordinating aid to Gaza. The 60, 9,800 tons of urgent humanitarian aid, which included about 6,500 tons of food and flour baskets, more than 2,200 tons of essential medical and relief supplies needed by the sector, and more than  One thousand tons of petroleum supplies, and this comes within the framework of Egyptian efforts to provide food and relief support to the people of Gaza.

 

 

It is noteworthy that, the “Zad Al-Izza… from Egypt to Gaza” convoy, launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent, set off on July 27, carrying thousands of tons of aid that It varied between: food supply chains, flour, baby formula, medical supplies, therapeutic medications, personal care supplies, and tons of fuel.

 

The Egyptian Red Crescent, as a national mechanism for coordinating and distributing aid to Gaza, is present on the border since the beginning of the crisis, as the Rafah crossing from the Egyptian side has not been closed permanently, and it continues to remain on alert throughout.
