The return of the Egypt International Golf Championship after an absence of 15 years, with the participation of stars from 35 countries

Stars from 35 countries from around the world are competing for the title of the most prestigious golf tournament in the Middle East, the Egypt International Open for Professionals, which is hosted by Madinaty Golf Club during the period from October 29 until November 1, with a total prize pool of $125,000.

The Egypt International Open Golf Championship returns after an absence of 15 continuous years. The last edition of it was held in 2010.

In view of the history and tradition of the tournament and the sporting and tourism importance it represents, it was decided to bring it back to light in accordance with the strategy of the Golf Federation, headed by Omar Hisham Talaat, to increase the number of international and international tournaments in Egypt to the maximum possible number. Annually.

115 players representing 30 countries participate in the tournament, competing over four days, starting next Wednesday until next Saturday on the Madinaty Golf Club course, which previously hosted the round in 2022. Asian.

The participating countries are; USA, Italy, Netherlands, Tunisia, England, Japan, Spain, Sweden, South Korea, Scotland, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Thailand, Vietnam, Switzerland, Philippines, Malaysia, Laos, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Australia, Morocco, Russia, China, Taipei, Canada, Hong Kong, Austria, Pakistan And Lebanon, in addition to Egypt, the host country.

The tournament this year comes within the agenda of the Asian Development Tour, one of the largest international tournaments that has also returned to Egypt once again, and is expected to continue for another three years to come, according to the Golf Federation’s contract with the Asian Tour, which was previously announced in the global press conference.
