Brazil: 64 killed in a security operation against drug traffickers in Rio de Janeiro

The outcome of the extensive security operation launched by Brazilian security forces against Drug traffickers in the city of Rio de Janeiro led to 64 deaths, including four law enforcement officers, according to new data issued by the security services on Tuesday.
The authorities had previously reported that 18 suspects and a number of policemen were killed during the operation in which about 2,500 members participated.
Thus, this operation becomes the bloodiest in the history of the state of Rio de Janeiro is located in southeastern Brazil.
