The Cairo International Festival for Arab Children honors the great star Yahya Al-Fakharani

The Cairo International Festival for Arab Children, headed by Dr. Dalia Hammam, in its third session, grants the great star Yehia Al-Fakharani a special honor in appreciation of his rich artistic career and his distinguished contributions in providing sophisticated and influential content for children.
The honoring will be held tomorrow evening, Friday, October 31, on the stage of the National Theater, following the presentation of the play “King Lear.” Which the great artist continues to present with great success.
This honor is a distinctive gesture from the festival, as Prof. Dr. Ghada Jabbara, honorary president of the festival and president of the Academy of Arts, and Dr. Dalia Hammam, president and founder of the festival, will go to the National Theater in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ayman Al-Shiwi, member of the festival’s Supreme Committee and director of the National Theater, to hand over the shield of honor to the distinguished artist, in special appreciation for his great role in supporting fine art and Arab culture.
During his career, the great star Yahya Al-Fakharani presented a number of works directed at children, which established his position as one of the few artists who combined artistic depth and educational simplicity. Among the most prominent of these works is: the character of Sheriff Woody in the dubbed version of the films “Toy Story” and “Toy Story.” And “Toy Story 2” Walt Disney Company, and the role of the shepherd in the cartoon series “Animal Stories in the Qur’an” (2011), and the role of the sailor in the cartoon series “Human Stories in the Qur’an,” and the role of Judge Safi al-Din in the cartoon series “Women’s Stories in the Qur’an,” and he participated in the role of the judge in the cartoon series “Wonders of Stories in the Qur’an, and Stories of Verses in the Qur’an.”
Dr. Dalia Hammam, president and founder of the festival, confirmed that this honor comes as a culmination of an artistic career full of giving and respect, and an affirmation of the Cairo International Festival for Arab Children’s appreciation for everyone who contributed to consolidating human and educational values in the conscience of new generations through art. And creativity.
