The Minister of Petroleum follows up on the implementation of projects and exploration work at Rasheed Company

Engineer Karim Badawy, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, made a surprise visit to the headquarters of Rasheed Petroleum and Burullus Gas Company in Cairo, within the framework of the Minister’s periodic visits to the headquarters and work sites of petroleum sector companies, which aim to monitor developments in the implementation of projects and work plans and give strong impetus to their implementation, and in order to communicate directly with executive leaders and work teams to learn about opinions and proposals and overcome challenges in the work environment.

The Ministry of Petroleum explained, in A statement today, Thursday, said that the Minister held a meeting attended by Engineer Mahmoud Abdel Hamid, President of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), Engineer Sayed Selim, President of Rasheed Petroleum and Burullus Gas Company, and the company’s leaders, where he followed the production situation regarding the West Delta Deep Concession area in the Mediterranean Sea as a strong contributor to gas production, which witnessed positive results achieved over the past few months after the completion of placing all wells of the tenth and eleventh stages of natural gas production in the region on a map. Production, within the framework of the Ministry’s work strategy to increase natural gas production locally. And half a year has passed in advancing work on local gas development and production projects, including projects in the deep western delta region.

 

The Minister listened to the opinions and proposals of the officials and executive leaders responsible for the company’s various work teams, stressing their importance in taking realistic solutions appropriate for development and removing challenges in light of the importance of the company’s role as a major producer of natural gas in Egypt.
