"Al Ain Equestrian Club" It hosts the first qualifying round for the UAE Show Jumping Championship
Al Ain, October 31 / WAM / The “Sand Field” at the Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club will host the fifth week’s competitions of the UAE Longines Show Jumping League, under the supervision of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, and sponsored by Longines, and includes 8 rounds.
The events will be held tomorrow and the day after tomorrow with an average of 4 competitions per day. It is the first qualifying round of 3 points-based rounds to participate in the UAE Show Jumping Championship.
The Federation confirmed in a statement today that the second qualifier will be held at Boudhib Academy on April 11 and 12, 2026, followed by the third qualifier on the fields of the Sharjah Equestrian Center on April 18 and 19 of the same year, then concluding with the Boudhib Academy Championship in early May 2026.
He pointed out the importance of competitions for the riders before their participation in the two-star Virtus International Championship from November 6 to 9 in Dubai, and the hurdles range from 110 cm in its first competition to 145 cm in its grand prize according to the specifications of one round with a round for differentiation.
The Federation indicated that the round includes 4 competitions for the first category with the specifications of the two special stages, and the second with the specifications of one round, in addition to two competitions for the first level and youth riders on the 130 cm hurdles.
He stated that the first day’s competition will be held tomorrow in two stages, with the second day’s event being held the day after tomorrow with the specifications of one round, with a round for distinction on the 140 cm hurdles.
