The European Union urges an end to the war in Sudan

The European Union today urged an end to the war in Sudan, warning that its continuation further exacerbates the deteriorating humanitarian situation.

European Commission spokesman Anwar al-Anouni said – during a press conference in Brussels – “We need to put an end to this war, and we will use all diplomatic means, including restrictive measures, to reach a peaceful way out of the crisis,” stressing at the same time that the European Union will continue to work hand in hand with the international community to find solutions.
