Russian Foreign Ministry: Handing over weapons to Ukraine does not contribute to resolving the conflict
The official spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, confirmed that handing over weapons to Ukraine does not contribute to resolving the conflict, and contradicts the electoral promises of the current American administration.
Zakharova said – in statements to journalists reported by the Sputnik news agency: The Russian, during a discussion at the international scientific and tourism forum “Discover the Atom,” in response to a question about the Pentagon’s approval to deliver Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine: “It is clear that the current situation and previous years have proven that militarization and the delivery of weapons will not lead to any solution to the conflict, and none of the electoral promises made by the administration currently in power will be fulfilled.”
