An avalanche kills 7 climbers on Mount Yalong Ri in eastern Nepal

7 climbers died during Yesterday’s avalanche on Mt "Yalong Ri" East Nepal.

Local newspapers quoted Deputy Police Chief Gyan Kumar Mahato as saying that the victims were part of an exploratory group consisting of 15 people, noting that the victims were from Canada, Italy, and Nepal.

Nahato reported that fluctuations in weather conditions and poor visibility hampered the search operations, despite the deployment of police and soldiers to assist in the search for the rest of the group.
