3 players represent the weightlifting team in a tournament "Islamic solidarity"In Riyadh
Dubai, 4 November / WAM / The UAE Weightlifting Federation announced the approval of the participation of players Issa Al Balushi, Ezzedine Al Ghafir, and Mai Al Madani in the competitions of the Islamic Solidarity Games, which will be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, from 7 to 21 November this year.
On a related level, the Federation confirmed participation in the Qatar and West Asia Cup Championship with a team consisting of juniors, youth and adults during next December, indicating the selection of international referee Jassim Al-Awadhi to arbitrate the tournament.
Hamad Juma Al-Ajmi, member of the Federation’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Technical Committee, stated that the competitions scheduled for the Islamic Solidarity Games enhance the development and empowerment of players, through interaction with elite participants from various countries, and representing the country in the best way in this tournament, after gradual stages of preparation.
