Russian Defense: Targeting Ukrainian transport facilities and ammunition depots

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its forces targeted energy and transportation infrastructure facilities that ensure the work of Ukrainian forces, in addition to a workshop for assembling drones, ammunition depots, and temporary deployment points for the Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 142 regions.

Russian Defense stated, according to the Russian news agency “Sputnik,” that its units are strengthening their tactical positions in several regions, It was able to neutralize about 50 Ukrainian soldiers and 26 weapons and military equipment, including an armored personnel carrier, two artillery, seven armored vehicles, a truck and eight trucks in Kubyansk, during the past night.

She added that in the area of responsibility of the “West” group of forces, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 230 soldiers and 11 armored combat vehicles. And 22 cars and two artillery, and the destruction of six electronic warfare stations, an anti-battery station, and six ammunition depots, while a group of “North” forces targeted Formations belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and two regional defense brigades, and Ukrainian losses amounted to about 285 soldiers, two armored combat vehicles, nine vehicles, and five field artillery pieces, in addition to the destruction of an electronic reconnaissance station, an ammunition depot, and five supply depots.

She explained that in the “South” forces group area, the losses of the enemy forces amounted to about 160 soldiers and three armored combat vehicles. And 23 cars and three field guns, and three electronic warfare stations and two ammunition depots were destroyed, while the units of the “Center” forces were reinforced. Its positions along the lines of fire, targeting formations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, while attack groups resumed destroying formations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces besieged in residential neighborhoods in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The enemy’s attempts to break the siege were also repelled, and during the past 24 hours, 12 enemy counterattacks were repelled in the northern and northwestern directions of Krasnoarmysk, in the Donetsk Republic.
