Abdel Raouf: I am proud to coach Zamalek.. I did not specify Bezerra’s replacement

 Ahmed Abdel Raouf, the technical director of the Zamalek team, expressed his pride and happiness in being in the Emirates, stressing his respect for the Pyramids team before facing it tomorrow in the local Super Cup, especially since it is a big team.

 

The technical director said during the press conference preceding the confrontation with Pyramids in the semi-finals of the Egyptian Super Cup: " Zamalek fans always stand behind the team, and whoever stands behind them, the fans do not know fear, and the team prepared seriously for this match, and we will do our best to achieve victory and compete strongly for the title.

   Abdel Raouf added: “Zamalek is living in difficult circumstances and this is a reality, but we will take advantage of that in order to make the fans happy, and at the team level we do not feel any crises, and our goal is to win the championship.”

 

He continued: “I am a player, fan, and coach for the Zamalek club, and I work to make our fans happy, and the task at this time is technically difficult, but I do not feel With fear.

 

He continued: “I worked as a technical director for teams below the level of Zamalek, and managing a large team gives you strength, and I do not feel fear or anxiety.” When I started my work with the technical staff, the list was pre-defined, and no amendments were made to it due to visa and travel conditions.”

 

The technical director continued, saying: “ I have been working with the team for a week, and Juan Bezerra’s replacement will be determined in the match, and I trust all the players.

 

He added:"  Football only recognizes effort, and we respect Pyramids, but we deal with the status of Zamalek Club.” 

He pointed out that God chose him to lead Zamalek, expressing his pride in this honor, even if for only 24 hours.

He added that the absence of the Brazilian Bezerra from the match is influential, but the team is ready to compensate for the absence of any player in light of the competition for all Championships. 

He pointed out that the victory over Tala’ea El Gaish before the Super Cup was important, but other tournaments like the Super Cup have a different approach to the pressure of matches.

He concluded his statements by emphasizing respect for Pyramids, its player Feston Miley, and all the players, and stressed that Zamalek is ready to compete for the title.
