The Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the city of Tulkarm for the 283rd day and bulldozes the entrance to its two camps

The Israeli occupation forces continued their escalating aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its two camps. Today, Wednesday, its bulldozers carried out extensive bulldozing operations at the entrance to the Tulkarm camp, which has been under siege for 283 days.

 

The Palestinian news agency “Wafa” reported that heavy occupation bulldozers were seen bulldozing Al-Wakala Street at the northern entrance to the camp, which led to additional sabotage of the infrastructure that had been destroyed during the stages of the aggression. Previous.

The occupation forces continue to prevent the camp’s residents from reaching their homes, after they tightened their military measures and closed all entrances by installing iron gates and cement cubes. Especially from its western side; While it erected dirt barriers in the area connecting the camp and the suburb of Dhanaba, and in the eastern neighborhood of the city adjacent to the camp, it seized a number of citizens’ homes and turned them into military barracks.

This escalation comes at a time when the aggression and siege on the neighboring Nour Shams camp continues for the 270th day in a row, as residents today organized a protest in front of one of its entrances in the Jabal al-Nasr neighborhood, to demand the return to their homes and refuse to return to their homes. They were forcibly displaced, but the occupation forces prevented them from advancing and forced them to leave at gunpoint.

At the same time, the city of Tulkarm and its suburbs are witnessing military reinforcements around the clock, as occupation vehicles patrol its streets and impede the movement of citizens and vehicles, by erecting flying barriers at several intersections there.

 

The ongoing aggression led to the forced displacement of more than 5,000 families from my camp. Tulkarm and Nour Shams, meaning more than 25,000 citizens, in addition to the complete destruction of more than 600 homes, and 2,573 homes partially damaged, turning the two camps into areas devoid of life. It also resulted in the martyrdom of 14 citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant, in addition to dozens of wounded and detainees, and widespread destruction that affected homes, infrastructure, and shops. And vehicles.

 

In this context, the occupation forces arrested, today, three citizens, including two children, during the storming of Tubas Governorate.

 

The director of the Prisoner’s Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, said that the occupation arrested the two children, Abdul Qader Allan Mahmoud Dabrara, 17 years old, and Ibrahim Jamal Ibrahim Khalil. “16 years old” during the raid on their parents’ homes in the city of Tubas, and the young man Izzat Ibrahim Youssef Bisharat, 37 years old” after raiding his home in the town of Tammoun.

The occupation forces had stormed at midnight several areas in Tubas Governorate, including the city and Al-Fara’a camp, in addition to the towns of Tammoun and Aqaba, where the raids continued for about 12 hours, during which many citizens’ homes were raided, searched, and their contents destroyed, in addition to other homes being used as military barracks and their residents forced to leave them by force.
