Israeli security sources confirmed that Goldin’s body is actually being held inside the same tunnel in the El Geneina neighborhood in Rafah, and that the army is refraining from bombing it for fear of losing any trace of him, stressing that Hamas is able to hand him over “at any moment.”

The sources described the tunnel as a “complicated path,” and the Israeli army began drawing its maps, but the political level has not yet taken a final decision.
