A partnership between Mohammed bin Zayed University for Human Sciences and"Kalam Research and Media"
Abu Dhabi, 7 November / WAM / Mohammed bin Zayed University of Human Sciences announced today the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Kalam Research and Media Foundation, to strengthen their partnership in the scientific, research and media fields and exchange expertise and institutional experiences.
The signing of the agreement was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah, Chairman of the Supreme Scientific Council of the University and Chairman of the Emirates Council for Sharia Fatwa, and it was signed by His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Director of the University, from the Mohammed bin Zayed University for the Humanities, and from the Kalam Foundation for Research and Media, His Excellency Dr. Arif Al Nayed, Director General.
The agreement stipulated that the two sides would cooperate in preparing studies, research and articles in common fields, publishing them in their respective journals and publications or through other publishing houses, and holding joint academic activities and events, especially conferences, seminars and dialogue forums.
In the field of capacity building, the agreement referred to the cooperation of the two parties in the field of providing research and training opportunities for university students, and the institution’s contribution to supervising university dissertations, developing university curricula, and supporting student research in general.
In the field of digital media and community communication, the agreement stipulated cooperation in this regard through the production of articles and research for the public, and training in media skills based on the corporation’s experience in managing satellite channels and social media platforms, in addition to any other areas of cooperation agreed upon by both parties.
His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri stressed that the agreement would bring about a qualitative shift in the content of the partnership between the university and the institution, and would enhance the areas of cooperation and coordination between the two sides in the scientific, research and media fields, and the exchange of expertise and experiences in this regard, in addition to developing a work strategy between the two sides to serve the community in the field of research and studies, and benefiting from the scientific and research materials available to both sides in enriching the academic arena with academic references and sources that help scholars and researchers to complete their research projects.
Al Dhaheri said that the university was keen to strengthen its partnership with the Kalam Research and Media Foundation due to its experience in the field of research, studies and media, especially since this cooperation is in line with the university’s goals of supporting the process of development, development and scientific research in the country.
His Excellency Dr. Arif Nayed also expressed his happiness at signing this agreement, which he stressed is not just an administrative cooperation, but rather the establishment of a new knowledge path.
He added that the Kalam Foundation has been interested, since its founding, in renewing the science of theology and promoting creative dialogue between philosophy, science, religious and ethical studies, and machine intelligence, and that it finds in Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed University for the Humanities a distinguished partner to achieve this mission, with its open vision and a civilized project that places the human being and his dignity at the heart of the educational and research process.
