Iran negotiations are going well… and a possible agreement soon

US President Donald Trump told the Financial Times that it is possible to reach a ceasefire agreement with Iran fairly quickly, and it is expected that an agreement will be concluded next week.

Trump added, “The indirect talks between the United States and Iran, mediated by Pakistan, are going well.”

Trump also told reporters on Air Force One: “I think we’ll make a deal with them, I’m sure of that… but we’ve seen a regime change,” referring to the number of Iranian leaders killed in the war that has been going on for about a month.

He added: “We are dealing with different people that no one has ever dealt with before. It is a completely different group of people, so I consider this a change in the system.”
