Film Support Grants
This joint initiative confirms the commitment of both parties to supporting talented filmmakers from the Kingdom and the region, and providing a platform that allows them to develop their ambitious cinematic projects from the writing and development stage to production and screening.
The winning projects this year include a variety of short and long narrative and documentary films from the Kingdom, the Arab world, Asia and Africa, all of which reflect the diversity of visions. And the artistic styles that enrich the global cinematic scene.
Filmmakers
The ten works highlighted a dynamic diversity of voices, cultures and cinematic styles, which confirms the keenness of the Red Sea Fund and AlUla Film to enable the journey of filmmakers in harnessing resources, vision and creative freedom to be able to transfer their stories to the screen.
These selected projects reflect the artistic development of the region and expand the scope of the film industry in the Kingdom as it is a center for international cooperation and storytelling.
And it continues.
This partnership between the Red Sea Fund and AlUla Film, for the third year, confirms the importance of concerted efforts in supporting promising talents, and enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a regional cinematic center that exports inspiring stories that cross borders and reach audiences around the world.
