Farida Othman and Abdel Rahman Sameh qualified for the Islamic Solidarity semi-finals

Farida Othman, the Egyptian national swimming team player, qualified for the semi-finals of the Islamic Solidarity Games, hosted by the Saudi capital, “Riyadh”.

 

Farida sealed her qualification after occupying the top spot in the 50 meter butterfly with a time of 27.33 seconds. In the same race, Jumana Tariq, the national team swimmer, ranked eighth with a time of 28.81 seconds, joining Farida in the semi-finals.

 

Abdul Rahman Sameh, the swimming team player, also managed to qualify for the semi-finals in the 50 meter butterfly, achieving a time of 23.76 seconds, which is the highest among the participants in the event. Competitions.

 

The semi-finals of the 50 meter butterfly competition will be held at the men’s and women’s levels starting at 5:45 pm today.

 

It is noteworthy that Egypt is participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games for the fourth time in its history, with a list of 96 male and female players competing in 16 sports.
