In pictures: Egypt hosts for the first time an international royal party at Abdeen Palace
In a first of its kind, Egypt hosted, today, for the first time, the luxurious royal party (The Grand Ball), which is being held this year outside its original home in the Principality of Monaco, to be held in the historic Abdeen Palace, one of the most important and oldest royal palaces in the world, and organized by Noble Monte-Carlo.
(The Grand Ball) is considered one of the most luxurious and prestigious international royal events that is held annually under the patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco, and is classified within the Ultra Luxury Royal Events category, which brings together senior figures from royal families, nobility, and symbols of society and diplomacy around the world.
Hosting this unique event comes as part of the closing activities of the fifth edition of the “Givers of Hope” campaign. (Hope Givers) International, which will be held during the period from 7 to 9 November in Cairo, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion.
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization hosted the first closing activities yesterday, while the closing ceremony of the campaign is scheduled to be held on November 9 at the Opera House in the New Capital.
Sherif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, expressed his pride and appreciation for hosting Egypt for the first time this international royal event, which reflects the confidence of the international community in Egypt’s ability to organize and host luxurious events of a cultural and civilizational nature.
This event also highlights the bright face of Egypt as a destination that combines royal authenticity and architectural modernity, and confirms its position as a global platform for embracing events that combine luxury and human culture.
