The UAE Pavilion in Bangkok attracts wide attention at the Defense and Security Expo 2025

BANGKOK, 10th November, 2020 (WAM) – The UAE’s National Pavilion, as part of the activities of the 12th edition of the Defense and Security Exhibition 2025, which is being held at the Impact Exhibition and Convention Center in the Thai capital, Bangkok, from November 10 to 13, has attracted wide interest from international delegations and senior industry leaders, reflecting its position as a major hub in the exhibition and a prominent destination for exploring the latest innovations in the defense and security sector.
The UAE Pavilion formed a dynamic platform that reviewed the most prominent achievements of UAE companies specialized in defense and security industries, and highlighted national innovations and building strategic partnerships that reflect the country’s advanced position in this field.
On its first day, the UAE Pavilion witnessed a remarkable turnout, as it received hundreds of visitors, decision makers, senior officials and sector experts, reflecting the growing interest in defense technologies and solutions provided by the country, as a group of the most prominent national institutions participated, including the Edge Group, Calidus, Bin Hilal, and Al Jundi Magazine, in addition to the International Defense Exhibitions “IDEX” and the Naval Defense and Security Exhibitions “NAVDEX”, which gave visitors the opportunity to learn about the latest Emirati innovations in the fields of military manufacturing and defense research and development.
Discussions during the first day focused on enhancing international cooperation and exploring partnership opportunities in advanced defense technologies, as visitors expressed great interest in the innovative solutions provided by Emirati companies, stressing the importance of the advanced position that the UAE now occupies on the global stage in the field of advanced defense industries and technology.
The UAE Pavilion also received a number of official delegations, including France, the Sultanate of Oman, Malaysia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Thailand, in addition to prominent figures from the defense sector, which reflects its position as a pivotal platform for enhancing international cooperation and exchanging experiences. The pavilion embodies the ADNEC Group’s approach to supporting global partnerships, by combining advanced UAE capabilities in defense manufacturing, research and development, and Thailand’s strategic location and operational capabilities.
The pavilion continues to receive visitors throughout the four days of the exhibition, attracting the attention of leaders and experts who are looking at the latest innovations in defense technology and participating in strategic discussions about future partnership opportunities.
