Chadian Minister: "Emirates Forum – Chad" It opens exceptional horizons for development and investment

ABU DHABI, 11TH November, 2017 (WAM) – His Excellency Mohamed Asiliek Halta, Minister of Urban Planning and Housing of the Republic of Chad, confirmed that the UAE-Chad Forum for Trade and Investment, held in Abu Dhabi, opens exceptional horizons for his country, and gives it the opportunity to showcase its potential as a promising destination for development and investment.

His Excellency added, in a statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), that his country seeks, through the forum, to strengthen cooperation with the UAE, stressing that Chad possesses the natural and human capabilities that qualify it to be an effective regional economic center in Central Africa.

He said that his country is witnessing today an unprecedented development boom and a new renaissance based on attracting investments and diversifying the economy.

He added that Chad is moving steadily towards achieving sustainable development, pointing out that there are tremendous opportunities in various sectors, from energy and trade to housing and manufacturing industries, which makes it an attractive destination for investors from all over the world.

He pointed out that the Chadian delegation participating in the forum includes a number of ministers and officials who are working to conclude new partnerships with the government and private sectors, with the aim of attracting capital and development projects to the country, expressing his pride that Chad is known today in the international arena as a country of stability and economic openness.
