The King of Jordan appreciates Japan’s role in supporting efforts to end the war in Gaza and strengthen the humanitarian response

The King of Jordan, King Abdullah II, stressed today, Tuesday, the need to ensure compliance with the agreement to end the war in Gaza and strengthen the humanitarian response, appreciating Japan’s position in support of these efforts.
This came during separate meetings held by the King of Jordan in Tokyo with the Speaker of the Japanese House of Representatives, Fukushiro Nukaga, the Speaker of the Japanese House of Councilors, Masakazu Sekiguchi, and the Chairman of the Jordanian-Japanese Parliamentary Friendship Committee, Kazunori. Tanaka.
The meetings included discussing bilateral relations and strengthening the strategic partnership between Jordan and Japan, especially in the parliamentary fields, in addition to the development and economic projects supported by Japan in the Kingdom.
The King of Jordan praised the Japanese role in these projects, stressing Jordan’s continued implementation of the vision of economic modernization to promote growth and create job opportunities, while providing the necessary facilities to encourage investment.
With regard to the Palestinian issue, the King stressed Abdullah II stressed the need to adhere to the agreement to end the war in Gaza and strengthen the humanitarian response, warning of the seriousness of the attacks on the Palestinians in the West Bank and the violations against Islamic and Christian sanctities in Jerusalem, explaining that a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution is the only way to end the conflict in the region.
