His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, said in a tweet on his official account on the “X” platform:

“Today, I viewed a group of the latest projects of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai, which keep pace with the rapid growth in the emirate, enhance the quality of life, and raise the level of infrastructure and the sustainable and future mass transportation system… In preparation for the launch of the air taxi service in Dubai next year, the authority carried out the first manned flight between the Margham area and Al Maktoum Airport, and is also working on developing the first station for the vertical take-off of air taxis near Dubai International Airport.”

His Highness added: “Major projects and pioneering innovations contribute to achieving integration between road networks and mass transit, and transforming Dubai into a city friendly to pedestrians and bicycles… Our investment in infrastructure is an investment in the future. Every new project and every qualitative innovation is an additional step towards achieving our clear goal… Dubai is the best city for living and working in the world.”
