A sixth batch of UAE relief supplies arrives in Afghanistan to provide relief to those affected by the earthquakes

The Emirati relief team continues its humanitarian efforts to provide support and assistance to the Afghan people affected by the effects of the earthquakes that recently struck the country, in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates, and an embodiment of the values of giving and solidarity established by the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him.
The total humanitarian aid provided so far has reached 250.3 tons, transported via 7 relief aircraft and 21 trucks, as part of the ongoing UAE humanitarian bridge to Afghanistan.
The aid included: 6,696 food baskets weighing 167.4 tons, 1,030 tents weighing 51.5 tons, 850 blankets weighing 3.4 tons, and a shipment of dates weighing 28 tons.
In Semangan Province, 1,188 food baskets, 450 tents, and 850 blankets were distributed, in addition to receiving plane No. 7 carrying a shipment of dates to support the affected families.
This is the sixth batch of humanitarian aid provided by the UAE to the brotherly Afghan people, while the aid continues continuously until those affected by the effects of the earthquakes fully recover.
These humanitarian efforts received wide praise from the families and those affected by the earthquake victims, who expressed their thanks and appreciation to the UAE for its noble stances and rapid response to provide support and relief.
This ongoing humanitarian effort reflects the UAE’s permanent commitment to supporting people afflicted and affected by natural disasters, and supporting them in confronting humanitarian crises and challenges.
