Sheikh Khaled Al-Jundi to the candidates: Whoever does not win a seat in Parliament does not lose membership in the nation

Sheikh Khaled Al-Jundi, a member of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, confirmed after casting his vote in the House of Representatives elections that participating in the elections is a national duty, demonstrating the citizen’s awareness and responsibility towards his country, saying: “To be a citizen is a great honor, and to participate in the rights of this citizenship is the greatest credit.”

Al-Jundi had cast his vote today in the House of Representatives elections within the Nahdet Misr School Committee. The official office in the distinguished district of 6th of October City in Giza Governorate, amid a calm atmosphere and distinguished organization by the authorities supervising the electoral process.

 

He added that the nation has entrusted its people with the responsibility of choosing, just as every official has been assigned with the responsibility of the decision, pointing out that citizens going to the ballot boxes is an expression of belonging and true awareness, and he addressed the winning candidates, saying: “We came down to choose you, and it remains for you to go down.” For our choices.

 

The soldier stressed that the people’s decision to choose who represents them is evidence of the existence of a living and conscious nation, calling on everyone to give priority to the public interest and work for the advancement of Egypt.

 

He sent a message of appreciation to those who were unsuccessful in the elections, saying: “If you lose the contest to choose parliament, remember that you did not lose membership. Homeland”.
