Saud bin Saqr receives the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure
Ras Al Khaimah, 12 November / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Public Services in Ras Al Khaimah, received today in his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City, His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure.
His Highness was briefed by His Excellency on a number of issues related to the energy and infrastructure sectors, in addition to the Ministry’s development plans and programs that keep pace with sustainability standards and the latest technologies, and aim to enhance the efficiency of services and ensure the smoothness and flexibility of project implementation.
His Highness also learned about the Ministry’s future vision, which is consistent with the UAE’s ambitions and directions to continue leading the energy and infrastructure sectors, and enhance their positive impact on society and quality of life.
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi stressed that the development of the infrastructure and energy sectors represents an essential pillar in the country’s journey towards enhancing its competitiveness and consolidating its global position, pointing out that continued investment in these two vital sectors directly reflects the quality of life, raises the efficiency of services, and supports sustainable economic growth.
His Highness explained that the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah is witnessing the implementation of many qualitative projects that enhance its service and economic system, and keep pace with the state’s trends in the field of sustainability, stressing the emirate’s keenness to move forward in supporting initiatives and programs that contribute to achieving balanced development, and provide an integrated environment capable of accommodating the needs of society and future generations.
For his part, His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei praised the interest of His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, his continuous follow-up of the development projects implemented in the emirate, and his continued support for the Ministry’s plans, appreciating the pioneering projects witnessed in the emirate that represent an advanced model in supporting development and enhancing community cohesion.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Ibrahim Hassan Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure for Infrastructure and Transport Affairs, His Excellency Engineer Yousef Abdullah, Assistant Undersecretary for the Federal Infrastructure Projects Sector, and a number of senior officials.
