Housing Bank: The “Digital Tracking” service enables citizens to complete and follow up on their housing reviews electronically

The Housing Bank confirmed that the innovative “digital tracking” service, which was launched within the update of the second phase of the “Bayti 2.1” real estate platform, comes within the framework of the bank’s ongoing efforts to accelerate and facilitate housing procedures for citizens, and transform them into electronic services, in line with the objectives of the government performance axis and digital transformation of the government program 2023-2026.
The bank added that this service, which was announced during the Innovation Conference and Exhibition in the Social Housing Sector held last April, aims to enable citizens to complete and follow up on all their housing reviews electronically, as this feature allows the citizen to follow the status of his housing application, especially the financing options provided by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, starting from the date of submitting the application, until completing the procedures for disbursing the financing amount, as the user is given detailed information about each stage, and identifies the party responsible for it, in addition to the possibility of uploading the required documents electronically, which Makes procedures easier for citizens to understand.
In this regard, Mr. Khaled Al Khaja, Senior Director of Corporate Communications at the Housing Bank, stated that the launch of the “Digital Tracking” service confirms the bank’s and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning’s keenness to provide the necessary facilities to obtain suitable housing, stressing that the service covers the entire cycle of application procedures, starting from the stage of searching for a property and comparing the financing offers provided by the participating banks, through submitting the application to the financing bank directly through the application, all the way to following up on the status of the application until the allocation and disbursement of the financing amount.
Al Khaja stressed: “The digital tracking service reflects the Housing Bank’s keenness to keep pace with digital transformation efforts in the social housing sector, which contributes to accelerating the pace of procedures for benefiting from the housing financing program options, and working to reduce and facilitate them, with the aim of saving citizens time and effort.”
The Senior Director of Corporate Communications at the Housing Bank concluded his statement by emphasizing that cooperation with the relevant private sector entities to enhance the application services is witnessing a great response, and that the new features available through the (Bayti 2.1) application constitute a qualitative shift in the path of digital housing services provided by the bank in the Kingdom.
