Al-Naliyah Exhibition in Umm Al Quwain continues its work

Umm Al Quwain, November 12 / WAM / The “Al Naliyah” Cultural Exhibition in Umm Al Quwain, in its fifth stop, hosted by the Umm Al Quwain Cultural Center, witnessed a wide turnout from visitors and school students.
The exhibition included the implementation of various activities for students and the public within the national framework of Emirati cultural activities implemented by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, with the aim of highlighting the Emirati cultural heritage and strengthening the emerging generations’ connection to the values of national identity.
The exhibition’s activities included distinctive traditional sports performances, including the sport of taba and displays of falconry sports, in addition to nautical and handicrafts stations presented by specialized craftsmen, giving the public the opportunity to learn closely about the details of traditional life in the Emirati environment.
Abdullah Bu Osaiba, Director of the Umm Al Quwain Cultural Center, confirmed that the “Al Naliyah” exhibition is a qualitative national initiative aimed at consolidating cultural values and Emirati identity among school students through seven main interactive stations that highlight multiple aspects of local culture.
He explained that the Ministry of Culture is making unremitting efforts to preserve national heritage and present it in attractive contemporary ways that enhance the spirit of belonging and pride in identity, noting that organizing the exhibition comes within the framework of keenness to instill concepts of Emirati identity in the hearts of new generations, and to support local craftsmen and artists by providing interactive platforms that highlight their creativity and introduce them to the public.
