The Acting Professions Syndicate denied what was circulated during the past few hours, on some social media sites, regarding the death of the distinguished artist Mohamed Sobhi.
The union confirms that this news is completely false, as Mohamed Sobhi enjoys a stable health condition so far and is receiving the necessary medical care after suffering a health illness, wishing him a speedy recovery and continued health, creativity and brilliance.
The Acting Professions Syndicate calls on all media outlets and social media users to be accurate in circulating news that affects the lives of artists, and not to be led by rumors that raise anxiety and tension between artists’ families and the public.
The union indicated that it is the only official body responsible for issuing data related to its members, calling on everyone to verify the information from its correct and reliable sources.
