Will Al-Ahly decide Abdel Qader’s fate? Schubert reveals the behind-the-scenes of the renewal and the player’s desire to stay
The journalist Ahmed Schubert confirmed that the coming period will witness intense moves by Al-Ahly Club to resolve the file for renewing the contract of team player Ahmed Abdel Qader, in light of the player’s strong desire to continue inside the Red Castle.
Schubert explained, during his radio program “With Schubert” On On Sport FM radio this Thursday morning, Al-Ahly management places the renewal file among its priorities, noting that the club’s policy requires announcing dismissal or renewal decisions at the end of the season, in order to preserve the stability of the team and the focus of the players.
Schubert added that Ahmed Abdel Qader is committed to remaining in the ranks of Al-Ahly despite the offers he received during the last period, stressing that the player considers continuing with the African champions his first option, awaiting the outcome of the final negotiations between the two parties.
