Under the patronage of Mansour bin Zayed.. Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed honors the winners of the third session of the Emirates Award for Leadership in the Labor Market

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Emirates Award for Leadership in the Labor Market, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, honored the winners of the third session of the award, the first of its kind in the country to honor Pioneering and distinguished practices in the labor market at the level of private sector companies and the workforce, during a ceremony organized by the Ministry at the ADNEC Center in Abu Dhabi.

During the ceremony, 100 winners were honored from approximately 18,000 nominations received by the award in this session, and the winners were chosen based on the results of the evaluation of specialized committees according to comprehensive governance standards characterized by accuracy, transparency and integrity, in accordance with the standards of employment and empowerment, occupational health and safety, creativity and innovation, attracting skills and social responsibility, and other standards for each of the award’s five categories.

Al Awar extended his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, for the sustainable sponsorship of the Emirates Award for Leadership in the Labor Market since its inception, which was a catalyst for the results achieved by the award in its successive sessions, and an inspiration for its sustainability, as it effectively contributes to efforts to enhance the UAE’s position as an ideal global destination for living, working and investing.

In his speech during the ceremony, he congratulated the winners, thanking everyone who nominated them, especially in light of the closeness of the participants’ files, which required great effort and precise and transparent governance standards to make a fair decision. He praised the ministry’s partners, including sponsors in the private sector, the judging committees, and everyone who contributed to the success of this round of the award.

During the ceremony, the winning companies were honored in the main “Companies” category, which is awarded to leading companies in the labor market, in 10 sub-categories, based on the evaluation results, out of 11 sub-categories allocated to the companies category.

“Al-Darwish Engineering” Company won first place in the “Real Estate Activities Sector” category, “Bosio Contracting” Company won second place, and third place was shared by four companies within the Real Estate Activities Sector, namely “Wade Adams Contracting Company,” “Ras Al Khaimah Cement Company,” “Sahara Garden Design and Construction Company,” and “Al Sarh Al Kabir Construction Company.”

In the trade sector, “Al-Shalhoub Group” won first place, “European Mechanical and Electrical Contracting Company” won second place, and “GMG Consumer Company” and “Bin Hamoodah Automotive Company” shared third place, within this category.

In the industries sector, the committee chose “Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar)” to win first place, “Gulf Boat Manufacturing Company” won second place, and “Trans Gulf Ready Mixed Concrete Company” and “Terraco AAM Limited” shared third place.

Within the health sector in the corporate category, “Saudi German Hospital” ranked first, “G42 Medical Laboratory” ranked second, and “LLH Hospital,” “Al Kindi Medical Center,” and “Medicare Hospital” ranked third.

The award honored “The Ambassador School” for winning first place in the education sector in the corporate category, “Spring Dells School” for winning second place, and “Al-Hikma Private School” for winning third place. As for the financial activities sector, “American Life Insurance” won first place, “Traflex Emirates Exchange” won second place, and “Omniyat Middle East Investment and Management” won third place.

Within the “Mining and Natural Resources Investment Sector,” Schlumberger Middle East won first place, Sigma Engineering Business won second place, and Applied AE, a company for studies in the field of innovation, won first place in the “Information and Communications Sector.”

In the “Consulting and Scientific Solutions” sector, “Q International Consultants” won first place, “Alef Educational Consulting” ranked second, and “IGMS Global Consulting” won third place.

In the “other economic sectors”, “Emirates Aramex” won first place for the transportation and storage sector, “Neuron” won second place for the administrative services activities sector, and “Deliveroo” won third place for the administrative services activities sector.

As for the second main category, which is the “Best Investment in Pioneering Workers’ Housing” category, the award honored the winning companies in three sub-categories, which is the “Large Housing” category, which includes 10,000 workers or more, and honored three housing within it, where the “Workers’ Design City” housing won first place, “Aryam Razin” housing won second place, and “Nozol” housing won third place.

In the “Medium and Small Housing” category, which includes less than 10,000 workers, three housing also won. The “Elec Contractor” housing won first place in the “Medium and Small Housing” category, the “Al-Futtaim Company” housing won second place, and the “First Security Group” housing won third place.

In addition to honoring three residences within the new subcategory added in this session, which is the “Best Workers’ Welfare Initiative” category, the “Construction Workers Residential City” residence was honored in the “Best Workers’ Welfare Initiative” category within the “Large Residences.” It was awarded in the medium and small category by Emirates Global Aluminium, and Al Naseem.

The third main category, the Business Services Partners category, which is awarded to offices that implement and develop best practices, is divided into three sub-categories: the category of assistive labor recruitment offices, the category of employment agencies, and the category of business services centers, which honors three winners, with one winner for each category.

“Outsourcing for Supportive Labor Services” was honored for winning the award in the “Supplementary Labor Recruitment Offices” category, “Mazaya Recruitment” Company won in the “Employment Agencies” category, and “Falak Tayyeb Platinum Government Services Center” won the honor in the “Business Service Centers” category.

As for the fourth main category, which is the workforce category, which is awarded to the distinguished workforce that has contributed to the service of work and society in the UAE, the winners were honored in three subcategories: the distinguished workforce category of the highest skill levels.

The award honored the winners in the “Distinguished Workforce of High Skilled Levels” category, within the Administrative and Executive Leadership Branch, where Abdullah Al-Buraiki, Director of Cyber ​​Security Department, from Emsteel Company, and Anas Kadiarakam Puthiya Thuppilakam, Director of Human Resources, from LLH Hospital, were honored for winning first place. Samer Mohamed Arsan Ghannam, Director of Government Relations, from Aramex Regional, was honored for winning second place, and Mohamed Abdel Moneim Abdel Azim, Director of Human Resources, from Spark Oilfield Maintenance and Services Company, won third place in the same category.

The “Distinguished Workforce of Higher Skills” category included the category of specialized professionals, and was won by Sivakumari Harikrishnan, a gynecologist, from Medcare Women and Children Hospital, in first place, and computer programmer, Omar Mohamed Saada, from the National Catering Company Limited, in second place, and the translator, Hamida Abdel Aty, from IBM Marks & Rights, and the private school, Buthaina Ezzat Al-Hosary, for winning the place. Third.

Within the technical competencies subcategory, also within the framework of “Distinguished Workforce of Higher Skill Levels,” Wafa Khaled Tayeb, an occupational health and safety technician from Sharjah American International Private School, won first place, construction supervisor Ranjit Singh Krishan Singh, from Sobha Construction Company, won second place, and Hussam El-Din Othman, a medical laboratory technician from Future Horizon Labor Supply Services, was honored for winning third place.

In the Administrative Services Professions category, which is the fourth and final category within the “Distinguished Workforce of Higher Skill Levels,” the award honored Ghada Mahmoud Al-Nakrashi, teacher’s assistant, from Greenwood International School, and Vaibav Kumar Gupta, a project manager from Majid Al Futtaim Hypermarkets, for winning first place. Sales employee Ziad Ghazi Abdul Hamid, from Najma Al Khaleej Commodities Company, and Mohammed Abdullah Al-Douda won first place. Buta Al-Harsousi, head of the executive office from Cybergate Electronic Protection Company, won second place, and customer service employee Muhammad Marouf Islam, from Al-Quwa Security Services Company, won third place.

In the “Distinguished Manpower Category – Other Skill Levels,” which includes the Simple Professions Category, the Craftsman Professions Category, and the Machine Operators Professions Category, three individuals were honored for each. Jaafar Khan, an assistant dyer from Abdul Baqi Building Contracting Company, won first place in the “Simple Professions” category, and the cleaner Nasruddin Khan, from the Farid Star International Building Maintenance Company, took second place, and ticket collector Naveen Naini Janjaiah Naini, from the “Simple Professions” Company. Anil Kumar Padmanabhan, a machine tool operator from Sigma Projects Company, won first place in the machine operator professions category, within the “Distinguished Workforce – Other Skill Levels” category, and machine assembly worker, Mustafa Abdullah Kamel Muhammad Al-Tahyoui, from SKM Air Conditioning Company, in second place, and Ijaz Ahmed Ghulam, a motorcycle driver, from Delco Express Delivery Services, in third place.

It included the “Assistant Workers” category, which is the last category within the “Distinguished Workforce Category”, where both domestic worker Maimuna Ayonan and domestic worker Jamhiwayalaji Somawathi were honored in the home care category. Farmer Muhammad Ilyas Sarkir, Sher Kanyankandi’s driver Mamu Kanyankandi, and laborer Omar Khan Nandirkhan were all honored in the domestic support category.

The award honored the social influencer Abdullah Al-Raisi and the social influencer Fatima Abdullah, within the social influencer category, for their active role in introducing society to labor market legislation and initiatives.

In the fifth main category, which is the “Labour Market Pioneers” category, which is awarded by direct decision of the award committee to companies, the workforce, and strategic partners and those who have a tangible role in developing the UAE labor market, which honors categories that cover different aspects of the UAE labor market, starting from large, small and medium enterprises, through distinguished workers, all the way to business services and strategic shareholders.

In the field of labor market pioneers, Majid Al Futtaim Group, Al Futtaim Company, Damac Company, Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Company, Al Dar Company, and Al Ansari Exchange Company received individual honors, for their pivotal role in implementing labor market policies, supporting compliance initiatives, supporting labor market initiatives, and sponsoring the third session of the Emirates Award for Leadership in the Labor Market. The strategic partners were honored in the “Labor Market Pioneers” category, as the award honored each of the “Federal Identity Authority.” Nationality, Customs and Port Security, the UAE Central Bank, and the Labor Housing Authority as the Ministry’s strategic partners supporting the implementation of labor market policies and ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.

The companies that win the award receive several benefits, including being classified in the first category within the classifications of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and subsequently benefiting from discounts on the Ministry’s services, which will achieve financial savings for them. All winning companies receive a diamond classification in the Ministry, and their benefits include priority in completing transactions, addressing technical challenges, and distinguished telephone service.

The first-place winner in the workforce awards receives a cash prize of 100,000 dirhams, the second-place winner receives a cash prize of 75,000 dirhams, and the third-place winner receives a cash prize of 50,000 dirhams.

The award was sponsored by ten major companies in the third session, as part of their social responsibility and commitment to supporting labor market initiatives, including “Damac” and “Aldar Properties” in the Diamond Sponsorship category. The “Insurance Complex” and “Sobha Real Estate” are among the Platinum sponsorships, the Integrated Telecommunications Company “Du,” the Emirates General Petroleum Corporation “Emarat,” the Electronic Documents Center, the National Marine Dredging Company, and Al Ansari Exchange Company are in the Gold Sponsorship category, and the Abdul Wahed Al Rostamani Group is in the Silver Sponsorship category.
