The Football Association increases the number of planes allocated to transport fans to Basra to 8

The UAE Football Association decided to increase the number of aircraft allocated to transport Emirati fans to support Al-Abyad in Basra to 8 instead of 5.

The UAE Football Association announced on Saturday morning the provision of five private planes for Al-Abyad fans to support the national team, which will play with its Iraqi counterpart in Basra next Tuesday at the Basra International Stadium in the Asian qualifier for the World Cup, which in turn qualifies for the 2026 World Cup finals, before announcing that the reservation of seats for the five planes had been completed.

The Union called on the public wishing to travel to Basra to register through the official platforms, and announced that registration will be closed once the required number is completed, noting that the trip will be round-trip on the same day.

The first leg, which was held at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium last Thursday, ended in a 1-1 draw.
