Executive Director of "National elections"All grievances regarding the House of Representatives elections are subject to the Commission’s consideration

Counsel Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Executive Branch of the National Elections Authority, said– In his speech during A press conference by the National Elections Authority to announce all the details related to the first phase of the House of Representatives elections and what was done in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic – All grievances related to the 2025 House of Representatives elections,  Considered by the National Elections Authority.

Bandari stressed: “We are committed to implementing the election timetable, and we are keen to achieve justice, and we will not accept injustice to any candidate.”

 

President Sisi and the parliamentary elections

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, had posted on his official page on the social networking site “Facebook” this morning, Monday, November 17, 2025, the following:

"In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I received the events that occurred in some electoral districts in which competition took place between individual candidates, and these events are subject to examination and decision by the National Elections Authority alone, which is an independent body in its work in accordance with the law of its establishment.

 

I ask the esteemed body to carefully examine these events and the appeals submitted regarding them, and to take decisions that please God – Glory be to Him, the Most High. It honestly reveals the true will of the voters, and the Commission should increase the transparency of the procedures by ensuring that each candidate’s representative obtains a copy of the vote tally from the subcommittee, so that the members of the House of Representatives come as actual representatives of the people of Egypt under the dome of Parliament. The National Elections Authority does not hesitate to make the correct decision when it is not possible to reach the true will of the voters, whether by completely canceling this stage of the elections, or partially canceling it in one or more electoral districts, provided that its own elections are held. Later.

I also request the National Elections Authority to announce the measures taken regarding the violations in electoral propaganda that have been reported, so that effective control over this propaganda is achieved, does not deviate from its legal framework, and is not repeated in the remaining electoral rounds.
