Cooperation between Egypt and Jordan in the field of social protection

Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Head of the Central Administration for Social Protection, discussed with the Director General of the Jordanian National Aid Fund, Khitam Shneikat, during their meeting today in the Jordanian capital, Amman, ways to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences between Egypt and Jordan in the field of social protection.

The Undersecretary of the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity praised the development of social protection systems in Jordan, stressing the importance of continuing coordination and exchange of knowledge between them. Both sides.

 

For her part, Shanikat stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two countries, which will reflect positively on the quality of services provided to the most needy groups.

 

During the meeting, the Fund’s programs were reviewed, including the unified cash support program, targeting and verification mechanisms, and monthly aid programs, in addition to economic empowerment programs and enhancing self-reliance for families. The beneficiary.

 

The meeting also included a tour inside the Fund’s building, to learn about the work of the Support and Assistance Center (Call Center) and the mechanisms for receiving and processing inquiries and complaints, and a visit to the Digital Maps Department to study the role of technology in supporting field follow-up operations.
