Discussion sessions and specialized events at the “Ajman Transportation Technology Conference and Exhibition”
Ajman, 19 November / WAM / The second edition of the Ajman Transport Technology Conference and Exhibition 2025, which was held over two days at the Emirates Hospitality Hall, witnessed the organization of discussion sessions, workshops and various events, with the participation of an elite group of local and international experts, and representatives of governmental and private institutions from various countries in the region and the world, with the aim of building a smarter and more sustainable future transport system, and enhancing the quality of life for all members of society in the Emirate of Ajman.
His Excellency Omar Mohammed Lootah, Director General of the Ajman Transport Authority, confirmed in a statement to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the conference has become an effective platform for exchanging experiences and ideas and enhancing international and regional cooperation in the fields of smart and sustainable transportation, indicating that Ajman continues its investments in digital solutions and innovative projects that support the green economy, improve the customer experience, and achieve integration between various transportation systems.
The conference attracts more than 39 speakers and 12 exhibitors and witnesses the presentation of the latest innovations in transportation technologies, including flying taxis, drones for rapid delivery, and smart cars designated for freight and passenger transportation, in addition to a review of the most prominent modern technical services used by the Authority.
The conference reviewed the transport vehicles of the Ajman Transport Authority and the smart services and advanced monitoring systems they contain that facilitate passenger transport operations and support vehicle tracking, in addition to highlighting contactless payment services that enhance security and safety standards.
For his part, Sami Al-Jallaf, Executive Director of the Public Transport and Licensing Agency at the Authority and Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee, stressed that the conference constitutes an important station for transferring knowledge and exchanging experiences in the field of transportation, pointing out the importance of using artificial intelligence in developing mobility solutions for its role in shortening time, raising safety rates, and facilitating public access to services, pointing out that the UAE is one of the first developed countries to adopt modern technology, especially in the transportation sector, benefiting from an infrastructure that is among the fastest in the world.
He explained that the conference is a destination for displaying the latest research and innovations from universities and specialized companies, as it provides them with a platform to present their future ideas and solutions. The public and specialists can also learn about the most prominent services and technologies through specialized workshops and discussion sessions, which on its first day included four sessions and on the second day five sessions, presented by experts from government agencies and international and local companies, including Uber and other institutions with experience in modern mobility technologies.
