Until he got his first opportunity as a director in 1949 through the film “Nadia.” Starring Aziza Amir and Mahmoud Zulfiqar, the year 1950 witnessed his real beginning through the film “The Four Nut” To begin an artistic career that lasted 33 years, during which he presented more than 57 films.
The late great director Fateen Abdel Wahab formed a wonderful duo with the comedian Ismail Yassin, for whom he directed several films, the most important of which were the films Miss Hanafi, Ibn Hamido, Ismail Yassin in the Army, Ismail Yassin in the Fleet, and others. He was also able to present the artist Riyad Al-Qasabji in the comic character of Shawish Attia, despite his sharp features that suggest that he is not fit. For comedy.
