Al-Ahly reveals the details of El-Shenawy’s injury

Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the doctor for the first football team at Al-Ahly Club, confirmed that Mohamed El-Shenawy, the team’s goalkeeper, suffered a connective muscle injury.

The team doctor explained that El-Shenawy felt pain in his left connective muscle, and the medical staff preferred to replace him during the match with Shasab El Kabylie to avoid aggravating the injury.

The team doctor indicated that El-Shenawy will undergo x-rays of the connective muscle during the coming hours to further check on his medical condition, and to evaluate his position on participating in group training.
