Yasser Idris congratulates the Egyptian delegation on winning 45 medals in the Islamic Solidarity Tournament

Engineer Yasser Idris, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Olympic Committee, was keen to extend congratulations to the Egyptian delegation that recently participated in the Islamic Solidarity Games competitions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Egypt won 45 various medals in the Islamic Solidarity Games, despite participating with a symbolic delegation in a limited number of sports.

Egypt participated with a symbolic delegation during the Islamic Solidarity Games competitions that took place in Riyadh from 7 to 21 November this year, in 12 games out of 23 games included in the competition schedule.
Egypt competed during the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, in the following sports: swimming, athletics, basketball 3×3, Boxing, camel, equestrian, judo, table tennis, taekwondo, weightlifting, wrestling, Paralympic Games (athletics – weightlifting).
