One that enhances the development and measurement of impact, and transforms goals and intentions into tangible, measurable results that contribute to supporting the UAE’s priorities.

She explained that “Majra” works to link companies wishing to implement initiatives of societal value, non-profit institutions seeking support, government agencies that determine national priorities, in addition to implementing agencies from the third and fourth sectors and academic bodies that evaluate projects.

She said that the role of the Fund is based on enabling these parties to exchange knowledge and experiences and develop initiatives in a more coordinated and effective manner, without providing direct financing, but rather by directing private sector contributions towards approved projects that are in line with the needs of the state. In return, it provides platforms for dialogue and policy formulation, and opportunities for high-level meetings between companies and government agencies, in a way that enhances joint partnerships between various sectors.

She pointed out that Majra tools, such as the “Institutional Impact Declaration” and the “Community Impact Medal,” are an annual national framework for measuring impact and motivating companies to adopt more sustainable practices. They possess the spirit of innovation, the ability to adopt technology with great flexibility, and skills that enable them to lead innovative solutions that are in line with the country’s priorities and future directions.
