Al Habtoor faces “Jahangiri”… and Mahra plays with “Por Una Cabeza”

The fields of the Al Habtoor Polo and Equestrian Club and Resort will witness this Wednesday afternoon the two semi-final matches of the 54th National Day Championship of the United Arab Emirates from (8 to 10 rounds). The first match will be held at 3:15 and brings together the Mahra team led by Tariq Al Habtoor and the Por Una Cabeza team, while the second match will be held at 4:15 and brings together the two Al Habtoor teams led by Mohammed Al Habtoor and the Jahangiri team led by Saad Jahangiri. The two winning teams will qualify for the final match. The date is next Saturday, while the two losing teams will play for the consolation cup in a match preceding the final.

The Mahra team is expected to be represented by Tariq Al Habtoor, Petra Spanko, Miguel Della and Nico Petracci, while the Por Una Cabeza team is represented by Romaine Ferrez, Thomas Ariarte, Charles Cooney and TPC.

As for the Al Habtoor team, it includes Mohammed Al Habtoor, Bali Ogiza, Juan Cruz, and TPC, and the Jahangiri team is represented by Saad Jahangiri, Ignaso Perez, Thomas Ariarte, and Santos Ariarte.

The preliminary round matches resulted in Al Habtoor defeating the Mahra team by nine goals to four and a half, and the Jahangiri team defeating the Por Una Cabeza team by eight goals to three.
