Jassim Saeed, champion of the Hafeet Ramadan Challenge in “Laser Run”

Player Jassim Saeed won the general category title in the Hafeet Ramadan Challenge Championship for the “Laser Run” sport, while Dhiyab Al Kaabi came in second place, and Maher Ayoub third, while Adam Majed won first place in the under-13 category, while Ali Ibrahim came in second place, and Ahmed Ali third.
In the under-17 competitions, Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed won first place, Faisal bin Mohammed bin Ali came second, and Abdul Rahman Masoud third.
The Emirates Modern Pentathlon Federation organized the tournament on the Al Ain Club’s subsidiary courts at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, amid a special Ramadan atmosphere and with the participation of 53 players, as part of the Federation’s agenda aimed at spreading the sport of “Laser Run” and expanding the base of its practitioners.
Dr. Hoda Al Matroushi, President of the Emirates Modern Pentathlon Federation, confirmed that “organizing this tournament represents an important step to enhance the spread of modern sports in society, and to spread the culture of physical activity among various age groups.” She said in press statements: “The inclusion of (Laser Run) competitions among the sporting events in the month of Ramadan reflects the keenness to provide innovative sporting activities that suit the atmosphere of the holy month.”
She added, “The tournament contributes to encouraging community members to practice sports in a fun and competitive manner, in addition to its role in spreading the sport of modern pentathlon and discovering new talents,” explaining that “Laser Run combines running and laser shooting, making it an integrated sports model that combines physical fitness, focus, and precision.”
