Al Jazira defeats Al Dhafra with a Panza double…and clings to fourth place

The Al Jazira team maintained fourth place in the professional football league standings, after its victory away from its home stadium over Al Dhafra, with a score of 2-1, in the meeting that brought the two teams together today, Tuesday, in the nineteenth round, at Hamdan Bin Zayed Stadium, in the presence of about two thousand spectators.

“Abu Dhabi Pride” owes credit to its striker Simon Panza, who scored Al Jazira’s goals in the 15th and 45th minutes, while the home team’s only goal came in the 48th minute from Mohammed Al Khaliwi.

With this result, Al Jazira raised its score to 37 points, strengthening its position in fourth place, while Al Dhafra’s score froze at 18 points in eleventh place.
