The final match of the Brazilian Minas Gerais state championship turned into a huge battlefield in which ropes were mixed with arrows, and chaos prevailed as a result of violent clashes between the players of the Cruzeiro and Atletico Mineiro teams, which forced the referee to end the match after showing 23 red cards.

Video clips on social media revealed that the spark of the crisis erupted when friction broke out between Atletico Mineiro goalkeeper Iverson and Cruzeiro Christian player, before it quickly developed into mass clashes between the players of the two teams.
