The Kremlin confirms the arrangement for the US envoy’s visit to Moscow next week

Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov announced a preliminary agreement for US Special Envoy Steve Witkov to visit Moscow next week.

 

Ushakov said, in statements reported by the Russian (TASS) news agency, on Wednesday: “With regard to Witkov, I can announce a preliminary agreement for his visit to Moscow next week,” adding that Witkov will travel accompanied by a number of American officials. “Those concerned with Ukrainian affairs”.

 

US President Donald Trump had previously stated that he had sent Witkov to hold meetings in Moscow, without specifying the exact date of the visit.
