Without losses…a 5-magnitude earthquake strikes the northern islands of Tonga

Hit An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale today off the coast of the islands "Tonga" In The Pacific Ocean.

It was reported The United States Geological Survey said that the earthquake occurred 108 kilometers northeast of the city of Hihifo and at a depth of 10 kilometers.

There have been no reports so far of human or material damage as a result of the earthquake.

Tonga is located northwest of New Zealand and Australia, and is an archipelago that includes 176 islands scattered in the South Pacific Ocean, of which only 52 are inhabited.
