Hamad Al Sharqi inaugurates the new Fujairah University building and emphasizes its role in enhancing the process of higher education
Fujairah, 26 November / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, stressed the pivotal role played by the University of Fujairah in consolidating intellectual knowledge, and the fundamental support it provides to the education process and to achieve educational and educational integration with its peers in the country, in addition to the university’s effective contribution to refining skills and preparing individuals to face the challenges of the future.
This came during the opening of His Highness the new building of the University of Fujairah, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.
His Highness was received by His Excellency Saeed Al-Raqbani, Vice Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Jassim, University Director and his deputy, the Board of Trustees, and members of the academic and teaching staff.
His Highness toured the corridors of the Fujairah University building, during which he was briefed on the facilities and services provided to students and the academic and teaching staff. He visited the library, study halls, laboratories, scientific laboratories and the medical simulation center, which is considered one of the leading centers in the Emirates, and learned about the latest educational methods and techniques and devices used in various specializations.
His Highness praised the efforts made in this scientific edifice, which has today become a beacon for Fujairah in the fields of knowledge, stressing that the emirate continues to follow this approach by launching educational and academic programs that contribute to enriching minds and opening the horizons of science for the development of society.
His Excellency Saeed Al-Raqbani, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Director of the University and the Board of Trustees, extended their thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah and His Highness the Crown Prince for the great support that was provided to bring the university to this distinguished stage at the Arab and international levels, stressing that the University of Fujairah is the great home for all young people searching for the future.
The opening was attended by Sheikh Maktoum bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Sheikh Saif bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Head of the Fujairah Free Zone Department, Sheikh Engineer Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Director General of the Fujairah Electronic Government, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and a number of directors of local government departments in the emirate.
