Trump’s first comment on the shooting near the White House

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that two members of the National Guard were seriously injured as a result of the shooting incident that occurred near the White House, threatening the perpetrator to pay the price. Trump wrote on his account on the “True Social” platform: “The animal that shot two members of the National Guard, both of whom were seriously injured and are now being treated in two separate hospitals, is also seriously injured, but will pay a heavy price anyway.”

Trump added: “May God have mercy on the National Guard, the members of the military, and the law enforcement apparatus. I, as President of the United States, and everyone associated with the Office of the Presidency, support you!"
