DAE completes 737 MAX deal with United Airlines

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) announced the completion of the delivery of all 10 Boeing 737-9 aircraft to United Airlines, as part of the previously announced sale and leaseback agreement.

DAE CEO, Firoz Tarapore, said: “We value United Airlines’ trust in us during the various stages of this deal, which was completed in a short period of time. Within only six months from signing the documents to completing the deal, the DAE and United Airlines teams worked in complete harmony, which confirms the flexibility and efficiency of both parties and their ability to implement projects with high efficiency.”

He added: “We are pleased to deliver 10 new, highly fuel-efficient Boeing 737-9 aircraft, in support of United Airlines’ fleet expansion plans, and we look forward to continuing to support the company and strengthen our cooperative relations.” It is noteworthy that DAE currently owns, manages, and is committed to owning a total of 236 Boeing aircraft, including 119 aircraft from the 737 MAX family.
